Mr Paul Trikha

I had ACL reconstruction and LET surgery with Mr Paul Trikha after my injury was sadly missed by two other surgeons. From the very start, he was incredibly helpful and supportive especially at a time when I was just starting my own career in sports therapy. My knee is now rock-solid and allows me to do everything I need to, both personally and professionally. I now specialise in ACL rehab myself and refer all of my knee patients to Mr Trikha regardless of how simple or complex their case might be. Every single patient comes back saying the same thing: "He actually listens and knows exactly what he’s doing." Over the years, I’ve rehabbed many of Mr Trikha’s patients back to sport safely and it’s always clear how well-managed their surgery and care has been. Highly recommend Mr Trikha if you want someone who genuinely understands knees inside and out.

I recently had a total knee replacement by Mr Trikha. The whole procedure was carried out in a very sensitive and efficient manner and my recovery has been seamless. I had a robotic partial knee replacement by Mr Trikha and from start to finish it was a positive experience. He is very approachable and professional. I saw Mr Trikha to repair my ACL, LET and MCL replacement. The whole process was a complete breeze including the day itself. Mr Trikha even elected not to do the MCL replacement and that has recovered well with non surgical process. The surgery itself could not have gone better and I am already weeks ahead of where I expected to be. I had an MPFL reconstruction with Mr Trikha two months ago at Nuffield Woking Hospital and have had a really good outcome in terms of the stability of the knee. Mr Trikha is a brilliant surgeon and excellent and communicating with patients, and truly cares about his patient’s post surgical outcomes. I highly recommend him and thank him for everything he has done for me :)

Had an arthroscopy on my knee on 1st October at The Woking Nuffield to clean up two meniscus tears and remove a flap. Arrived at 7.00am, in theatre at 8.10, having talked to nurse, anaesthetist and surgeon (Mr Trikha) and back upstairs by 9.45! Excellent care and advice from nurse, pharmacist and physiotherapist before leaving. Saw Mr Trikha again after two weeks of recovery and physio, having had daily walks and no painkillers for nine days. Well on the way to full recovery!

I can’t recommend Paul highly enough. From the first appointment through surgery and recovery, I felt completely looked after. He took the time to explain my meniscal tear and repair in a way that was easy to understand and never made me feel rushed or brushed off. If you’re dealing with a knee injury or need a meniscal repair, you’ll be in excellent hands here. Very grateful for the outcome and the whole experience.

Having snapped my ACL/ PCL and MCL in both knees as a result of a ski accident in 2023 Mr Trikha carried out my surgeries on both knees mid 2023, just 4 weeks apart with donor ACL’s, I recovered very quickly and started to build strength and confidence in the following months / year. And I am very pleased to be able to report I got back to the slopes in January this year fully recovered and skiing as well as I ever did, at 62 years old I wasn’t sure I would ever get back! My mum recently had a partial knee replacement and couldn’t speak more highly of Mr Trikha. It has been a seamless process since day 1, with a hugely successful operation, incredible support, follow up appointments, physio equipment provision and great expert advice whenever needed. She is already up, walking (and without crutches at just 2 weeks of recovery!), with minimal swelling and daily improvements in her mobility. Very thankful to Mr Trikha for helping to make it such a stress free and smooth process! Highly recommend to anyone who is needing a similar procedure.

Mr Trikha performed ACL reconstruction, LET and a complex meniscus root repair. I am now 3 months post op and thriving. I have no swelling and whilst I am not yet back to sport, I rarely think about my knee as a limiting factor in day to day life. I have full extension and almost full flexion. Mr Trikha has excellent bedside manner and his secretaries are always quick to respond to queries. His surgical work is neat, and I’ve even been complimented on how neat my scars are! Saw Mr Trikha in mid 2022 and opted to be treated non-operatively for degeneration of knee and a degenerative meniscus tear. Through intensive physiotherapy (with a local firm), one injection and lots of strengthening exercises have regained a range of movement to almost fully flexion and extension. Thankfully no operation needed.

Amazing results! Had knee surgery following a Brazilian jiu jitsu injury and I can’t recommend Mr Trikha highly enough. Super professional and very easy to work with.

He was directly honest, professional and clear about what needed to be done for my knee. On the day of surgery, he took the time to check on me before and after the operation.
